Starter Pokémon Locations

The classic starter Pokémon are among the easiest to find in Pokopia and make excellent early companions. Here's where to find the most popular starters:

  • Bulbasaur: Found in the Tall Grass habitat in Mossgrove Meadow. This is often the very first Pokémon new players befriend. It has the Grow specialty, making it useful for farming plants and flowers.
  • Charmander: Appears in the Campfire habitat. Build a fire pit surrounded by flat stones in any warm-weather area. Charmander has the Burn specialty and is useful for processing materials that require heat.

Explore every area. Pokopia has multiple distinct areas, and many Pokémon are area-exclusive. You cannot find every species in a single zone. Progress through the main story to unlock new areas, and make sure you build habitats in each one. Dream Islands also contain exclusive Pokémon that cannot be found on the main island.

Legendary Pokémon Overview

Pokopia features approximately 15 legendary and mythical Pokémon, each with a unique encounter method. Unlike regular Pokémon, legendaries don't simply appear in habitats.
